Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is Microsoft’s cloud-based VDI solution and is offered and maintained entirely from the Azure portal. AVD is ARM-based (Azure Resource Manager) and therefore fully integrated in all the solutions within the Azure Portal. This makes it possible to combine multiple features with AVD such as Azure MFA and Endpoint Manager.

In this workshop you will work with the following techniques and methods
- Check if all prerequisites are in place for setting up the AVD environment
- Setup your network environment and work with Azure vNet and Network Security Groups (NSG).
- Make fileshares for FSLogix and MSIX app attach on a Azure Storage Account and integrate it with your Active Directory.
- Make a base image with Azure Image Builder and Shared Image Gallery.
- Create a monitoring solution with Log Analytics Workspace and Azure Monitor.
- Setup user profiles with FSLogix and deploy applications with MSIX app attach
